Day 1: Delhi

Arrive at Delhi International airport.

You will be welcomed as traditional way, transfer to your hotel. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi

Breakfast in hotel and proceed for the guided tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Also enjoy rickshaw ride in busy bazaar of Chandni Chowk.

Afternoon visit QutubMinar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Lotus temple [drive pass].

Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings, Connaught Place shopping centre and other tourist attraction of Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra

After breakfast in hotel transfer to on arrival, check in at your hotel. Afternoon time is at leisure.

After some rest visit Agra fort shah burj containing the halls of private & public audiences & other palaces. Shah Jahan spent here years of confinement at the hands of his son Aurangzeb, looking wistfully at the Taj Mahal from the Fort (both monuments are UNESCO World Heritage Sites of India).

Early evening you will be taken to see the back side of Taj Mahal at the sunset. The rare sight of Taj from the fields with the river in the front is simply magical.

Later visit the local market and dinner at local Restaurant. After dinner transfer back to your hotel.

Mohabbat the Taj – A show which has taken seven years of chiseling and carving by 28 craftsmen and designers. Made in pure white Makrana marble like the original 17th century monument, a Taj Mahal replica. It is opened to the public as part of a glitzy stage show from Friday. The model, built upon a 12 x 12 ft area, weighs 8,250 kg. The workmanship and stone inlay work closely resemble the original. It will be showcased at the 400-seat Kalakriti auditorium specially built for the show. This programme has exciting and innovative presentation of a song and drama spectacle involving 60 artists, they have tried to merry the traditional media with the latest gadgetry, audio visual technology, including laser. The Taj will be presented in 10 different moods, representing varying seasons and hours of the day.' The model of the Taj will appear on stage with the help of a hydraulic lift as laser beams dance all over, creating an ecstatic climax for the spectacle titled 'Mohabbat -the Taj'. The show will a love story set in the 17th century ambience and woven around the Taj. The replica of the Taj will continue to be open to the public even when the show is over, said by one of official at Kalakriti. (Show of 90 minutes presenting Mughal splendour in all its glory).

Day 4: Agra – FatehpurSikri –Pushkar

Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal during sunrise simply magical, built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stands testimony to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy and who took 17 years to complete this 'Love Poem in Marble'.] Also enjoy the horse carriage rides in Agra [one way]

Later back to your hotel for breakfast. Afternoon drive to the holiest city of Rajasthan – Pushkar, located in the Aravalli valley, in central Rajasthan 11 KMS north-west of Ajmer, On The way visit FatehpurSikri, Palace of Jodh Bai built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. The FatehpurSikri complex houses tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other palaces, which surprisingly have withstood the ravages of time and are still in good condition.

Drive to Pushkar, On Arrival and check-into hotel.

Day 5: Pushkar – Ajmer – Bundi

Early morning take a pleasant walk on the street around the sacred sarovar [Lake], surrounded by 52 Ghats and the famous Brahma Temple, [walking early morning on the street is eye-catching see the morning activities of local people]

After visit drive to Bundi, on the way visit Ajmer Sharif [Khawaja Gharib Nawaz] and local attraction of Ajmer. On arrival check-in at your hotel

You will be able to have the view of Bundi Palace and old Havelis. Evening time is at leisure.

Day 6: Bundi – Chittorgarh – Udaipur

Breakfast and enjoy the sightseeing tour of Bundi which includes your visit to the magnificent Taragarh Fort (built in 1354 A.D.) and to the magnificent Bundi Palace. The palace complex has some very interesting apartments named as Chhattar Mahal, RatanDaulat, Sukh Mahal, PhoolSagar and Chitrashala.

After visit and drive to the Lake city – Udaipur and on the way visit Chittorgarh Fort “Chittorgarh the pride and glory of Rajasthan,Chittaur echoes with the tales of romance and vlour unique to the Rajput tradition. A ruined citadel, where the royal past lives in its imposing forts, graceful palaces and spectacular chattris. This fortified settlement has been ravaged thrice and each time the outcome was ‘Jauhar’-when women and children immolated themselves on a huge funeral pyre while men donned in saffron robes of martyrdom rode out of the fort towards a certain death”.]

After visit drive straight to Udaipur, on arrival check in at your hotel. Evening is free to explore the interesting labyrinths around Jagdish temple on your own.

Day 7: Udaipur

Morning enjoy sightseeing tour of the city’s main attractions City Palace Complex, Saheliyon Ki Bari, the Jagdish temple and walk through the interesting labyrinths around it. Rest of the time is free at leisure.

Day 8: Udaipur – Ranakpur– Rawla Narlai

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to the RawlaNarlai; while visiting Ranakpur to see the huge 15th century Adinatha Temple. It is the largest and most complex Jain Temple in India, with 29 halls covering 4,320 square yards and 420 ornately carved pillars to hold up its domes.

After visit transfer to RawlaNarlai. On arrival at Narlai – a small town situated underneath the Aravali Hills, check in at your heritage hotel “RawlaNarlai. This heritage hotel was once the hunting lodge of the rulers of Narlai. The hotel is beautifully restored & decorated with antiques and rare plants. Staying here is really an interesting experience.

You may take walking tour of the village or may enjoy horse safari in the country side, the same can be arranged through your hotel (optional & on direct payment basis). You may also enjoy a step – well dinner (optional).

Day 9: Narlai – Bishnoi Village – Jodhpur

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to the Sun City – Jodhpur; on the way visit “BishoniVillage” car, explore the village. Here visit village hut and learn to local rural village life. [BishonivillageThe place is surrounded by ‘Bishnoi villages’ and during your stay here, you can take a horse ride [optional] these bishnoi villages. Bishnoi people are staunch conservationists who still follow 26 clans & principles and here in their houses, you may still see the blackbucks (a member of deer family) roaming freely, so much so that sometimes you may see them sharing the meals together, from a single plate.]

After visit drive further to reach Jodhpur, on arrival, check in at your hotel.

Evening you may take a walking tour in busy bazaars/market around Clock Tower in the old town.

[Jodhpur Famous Dishes: MirchiBada, Pyaz Ki Kachori, Sweet Lassi of Jodhpur, is very famous as the water in that region lends it a unique taste. In veg. curry GulabJamun Ki Sabji&Haldi Ki Sabji is one the famous in this area].

Day 10: Jodhpur – Jaipur

After breakfast proceed to visit the majestic Mehrangarh fort, JaswantThada, UmaidBhavan Palace and other attractions of the Sun City.

After visit drive to Jaipur [Pink city] car. On arrival at Jaipur, check-in at the hotel.

Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 11: Jaipur

Morning “spiritual walking tour of some interesting streets and squares of the Pink City to see the glimpses of the habitual patterns of its people which even includes attending heart-rending prayers at “Sri Govind Dev Ji Temple” during the Aarti. After Aarti proceed to visit Flower & Local vegetable market & visit to local School.

Later excursion to Amber Fort. Standing tall over a small hillock overlooking the Pink city, Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort-Palace. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster.

Afternoon half day sightseeing tour. The tour begins with a visit to the Maharaja's City Palace,- the former Royal residence,- part of it converted into a museum. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum, housing an impressive array of weaponry -pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers. Also see the miniature items and old carpets at the Textile Museum.

Later visit the JantarMantar, which is the largest stone-and-marble-crafted Observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the Observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition.

Evening you may walk through many interesting lanes of Jaipur, which are full of shops of artisans, temples and traditional houses.

Day 12: Jaipur – Cochin [Early Morning Flight]:

Morning transfer to Jaipur airport flight to Cochin.

On Arrival Cochin Airport, pickup and straight drive to Munnar, on the way visit after taking a picturesque drive reach the high ranges of Munnar – the highest and the most beautiful tea growing region in the world.

On arrival, check in at your hotel. Rest of day time is at leisure.

Day 13: Munnar

After breakfast at your hotel and proceed for sightseeing trip of Munnar which includes Echo Point, Pothanmedu view Point, Tea Garden.

Day 14: Munnar – Periyar

Breakfast in the hotel and drive to Periyar /Thekkady, on arrival check in at the hotel. After some leisure time in hotel, proceed for a tour of the spice plantations [like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee and may taste the world’s best pepper].

Evening proceed on a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which includes wild elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar and different species of birds, can also be spotted.

You may visit a local village to have a special ‘elephant tour’ package.

Day 15: Periyar – Kumarakom

Breakfast in hotel, drive to Kumarakom- an island with a beautiful bird-sanctuary and extremely serene atmosphere. On arrival, check in at your hotel backwater resort.

Kumarakom is located on the banks of the Vembanad Lakein the Kuttanad region and renowned for its natural beauty. It is an ideal base to experience the famous Kerala backwaters, replete with meandering lagoons, coconut trees, endless rows of paddy fields interspersed by waterways and canals.

During the day, you may rejuvenate your body and mind by the Ayurvedic treatments at the hotel (on direct payment basis).

Overnight in Kumarakom.

Day 16: Kumarakom – Alleppey

Morning is free to relax in the resort; you may enjoy the actives of the resort. Or traditional Ayurvedic therapies as the most suggested facility for rejuvenation [on direct payment basis].

At appropriate time check out from your hotel, and drive to board the houseboat, on arrival, you will be welcomed and served with the welcome drink in a nice Indian tradition before boarding the houseboat. Embark in your exclusive Houseboat with fully furnished bedroom, attached bathroom, living room, etc. You will have your exclusive chef who will prepare tasty meals and seafood for you.

Your houseboat trip makes you experience this very unique thing. While sitting on the deck of your houseboat or while sitting in the spacious open sit-out area, outside your bedroom, you can see the people starting their day. Among the many interesting things which you can see in the day long journey, few which I am sure would catch your attention are:

- Children being taught the swimming lessons right at their door-step.

For the whole day you will be moving over the backwater canals witnessing every aspect of backwater lifestyle in a leisurely manner. You have the discretion to ask your boat to be moored at any point you find appealing. By the evening, your boat will get moored close to one of the villages, located by the backwaters. You can take a tour of this small village.

Day 17: Alleppey – Cherai Beach

Breakfast at your houseboat and drive to Cherai beach, the best picnic spot nearby Cochin City. Enjoy the sandy beach and sunlight of Cherai. The prime attraction of the Cherai is the place is sarrounded by backwaters and beach together, so the fun and peaceful atmosphere is guaranteed. You can swim in the sea, take sun bath, and enjoy a colorful sunset in the evening.

Day 18: Cherai Beach

Breakfast at hotel, Leisurely enjoying at the Cherai Beach, Dolphins are occasionally seen here. It has the calm serene Backwaters with Chinese net on the other side and the land is filled with coconut trees etc.

Day 19: Cherai Beach – Cochin

Early Morning after breakfast at hotel & Drive to Cochin, Depending on the time of departure flight you can enjoy the sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi area which would include visit to Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese fishing nets.

At appropriate time transfer to Kochi airport flight to connecting airport for back home.
