Royal Rajasthan tour with Varanasi


Day 1: Delhi

Arrival at Delhi International airport. And transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Depending on the time of arrival,you may visit the local attraction of Delhi.

Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast take a tour of this historical city. Delhi is a lot more than just a city of love. It is the absolute combination of tradition and modernity. A city with innumerable monuments on one hand and a world class airport and metro on the other. Street food, shopping malls, thrifty shopping places, religious places, theatre; you name it and Delhi has it! city which includes your visit to the Humayun’s tomb, QutubMinar, Red Fort, ChandniChowk&Jama Masjid among other attractions which you really feel great after visit these special attraction of Delhi.

Later after lunch drive past impressive boulevards and buildings such as President’s Residence and others in Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi). Also, take a Rickshaw ride tour in the ever so busy ChandniChowk. Also visit the spice market- KhariBaoli which will engulf your senses with the spicy smells and brisk business where spices are not carried in mere quantities of grams or kilos but they are carried in big sacks weighing several hundred kilos.

Day 3: Delhi - Mandawa:

After, early breakfast drive to the Shekhawati town “Mandawa”.The city of Mandawa, founded in the mid-18th century, was once a town inhabited by the rich merchant families. The wealthy and dominant merchants constructed massive havelis, adorned with beautiful wall paintings, for the purpose of their residence. However, with time, the merchants moved on and migrated to other areas, leaving the beautiful havelis in the shadows of anonymity. Still, the magnificence of these havelis did not diminish and now they have become a major tourist attraction of the city.

On arrival, check in at your hotel. After some rest, enjoy the sightseeing tour of Mandawa to see the best beautiful Frescoed Havelies of the region.

Evening you may walk in the narrow streets of this beautiful village.

Major Attractions: Havelis

There are a number of fascinating havelis in Mandawa, all of them adorned with beautiful wall paintings. Some of the main havelis are:

• Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli: This haveli has a painting depicting IndraDev on an elephant and Lord Shiva on his vehicle, Nandi bull.

• Goenka Double Haveli: This haveli, with two gates, has its portico adorned with elephants and horses.

• Murmuria Haveli: The paintings of the haveli include a train with a crowded level crossing, with crow.

• Mohan LalSaraf Haveli: The picture of a Maharaja stroking his moustaches beautifies this haveli.

Day 4: Mandawa - Bikaner:

Breakfast at your hotel. Check out from you hotel to visit Fatehpur and drive to camel city “Bikaner” on arrival check-in at your hotel. After brief leisure visit the Junagarh Fort, the Lalgarh Palace, Shiv Bari Temple, Bhandeswari temple and the great Jain Havelisin Bikaner city. & other attractions in the guided sightseeing tour. Also, visit the unique camel breeding farm. Evening is kept at leisure.

Day 5: Bikaner - Jaisalmer:

Arrival to Golden city “Jaiselmer”., check in at your desert Swiss Tent.

After some rest leave for camel ride on Sand Dunes with camel man for the sunset views of the desert, return back to the camp to enjoy warmth of bonfire and Rajasthani hospitality with snacks and Folk dances of Kalbelias, Gala Dinner is followed in Dining area.

Overnight stay in Desert Camp.

Jaisalmer: is a giant sandcastle with a town attached, an emblem of honour in a land of rough and tumble. The fort is a living monument to long-lost desert might, a Golden City of dreams that exceeds expectations of the most travel-sick tourist or hardened history buff. Rising high from Trikuta hill, 99 enormous bastions hide havelis of crumbling beauty, and former Raj retainers, who now raffishly run guesthouses or flog bedazzling mirrorwork and embroidery. Like a Hansel and Gretel wonderland, the enclosed palace is carved from the same near-edible golden sandstone.

Day 6: Jaisalmer

After breakfast Visit Jaisalmer Fort & Museum after breakfast. Also see sightseeing of various attractions of the town covering fort with its temples & palaces, the Havelis, the amazing maze of lanes and bylanes, Gadsisar tank, Bada Bagh and Vyas Chhattries. (80 meters above plains)& Jain Temples within the Fort, built in 12th to 15th century which are very worth watching. Visit atop from Palace you can have the golden view of whole Jaisalmer city as whole city is built in yellow sand stones, when sun rays fall on the city, it give impression as golden city of India. Afterwards visit Patwon Ki Haveli and Nath Ji Mal Ki Haveli.

Day 7: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur:

Check-out from you hotel and drive to the “Sun City”, Jodhpur. On arrival check-in at your hotel. After a short break in hotel visit the majestic Mehrangarh fort, JaswantThada, UmaidBhavan Palace and other attractions of the Sun City.

Evening take a walking tour in busy bazaars around Clock Tower in the old town.

Day 8: Jodhpur – Ranakpur - Udaipur:

Breakfast in hotel and drive to the “Lake City”, Udaipur on the way visit Ranakpur to see the huge 15th century Adinatha Temple. It is the largest and most complex Jain Temple in India, with 29 halls covering 4,320 square yards and 420 ornately carved pillars to hold up its domes.

After visit driver straight to Udaipur. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Free time walk through the interesting labyrinths around Jagdish temple.

Day 9: Udaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast and proceed for the daylong sightseeing tour of the city’s main attractions City Palace Complex, Saheliyon Ki Bari, the Jagdish temple and walk through the interesting labyrinths around it.

Udaipur city is famous as Lake City or City of Lakes and it is also known as Venice of the East. Your visit to Udaipur is incomplete till you have not enjoyed the heart throbbing views of its lakes. FatehSagar is one such kind of a place in Udaipur. Not only tourists, even the local residents of Udaipur always enjoy most of their time at FatehSagar.

Udaipur is where much of Rajasthan's grandeur resides, traces of which can be seen in the rich cuisine available here. One can just not miss out the famous Dal BatiChoorma or GattekiSubzi. Also, do try out the famous Dalkachori, Mirchikachori, KachoriChaat and other kinds of kachoris from the streets, forming a popular element of Udaipur's Cuisine. Day 10: Udaipur - Bundi

After breakfast in hotel and drive to the charming fort city Bundi on the way visit Chittorgarh Fort“Chittorgarh the pride and glory of Rajasthan,Chittaur echoes with the tales of romance and vlour unique to the Rajput tradition. A ruined citadel, where the royal past lives in its imposing forts, graceful palaces and spectacular chattris. Overnight in Bundi.

Day 11: Bundi

After breakfast in hotel and later enjoy the sightseeing tour of Bundi which includes your visit to the magnificent Taragarh Fort (built in 1354 A.D.) and to the magnificent BundiPalace . The palace complex has some very interesting apartments named as ChhattarMahal, RatanDaulat, SukhMahal, PhoolSagar and Chitrashala. Later visit the different interesting Step wells.

Day 12: Bundi - Pushkar

Morning check-out from your hotel and drive to – Pushkar,which is the holiest city of Rajasthan – Pushkar, located in the Aravalli valley, in central Rajasthan 11 KMS north-west of Ajmer.

Check-in at your hotel. Day 13: Pushkar – Ajmer - Jaipur

Morning breakfast at your hotel and drive to Pinkcity “Jaipur”, on the way visit the famous Dargah of KhawajaMoinuddinChisty in Ajmer. After visit drive to ‘Pinkcity’, Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur, check-in at your hotel.

Early evening the experience the Indian culture, we will take your ‘GovindDevJi’ temple which is the most revered temple of Jaipur city and where each prayer is a spiritually moving experience, you may walk through many interesting lanes of Jaipur, which are full of shops of artisans, temples and traditional houses.

Day 14: Jaipur

After breakfast and proceed for a daylong sightseeing trip you will visit the majestic hill top fort of Amber housing the beautiful mirror palace and elaborate Ganesh Pole. Here, enjoy elephant ride to the hilltop fort. And also visit Birla Mandir and Monkey temple.

Day 15: Jaipur – Chand Baori – FatehpurSikri – Agra

Breakfast and check-out from your hotel and transfer to Agra. En-route visit FatehpurSikri. On arrival, check-in at your hotel.

Day 16: Agra – Orchha

After Early breakfast visit Agra fort shah burj containing the halls of private & public audiences & other palaces. Shah Jahan spent here years of confinement at the hands of his son Aurangzeb, looking wistfully at the TajMahal from the Fort.

After visit drive straight to Orchha – a virgin historical site picturesquely located by the banks of Betwa River. The place with its beautiful palaces and thematic chambers is still almost un-touristic.

On arrival, check in at your hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax and to enjoy the magnificence beauty of this small place situated on river side.

Day 17: Orchha – Khajuraho

Breakfast and checkout from your hotel to visit the Raj Mahal palace, Raj Praveen Mahal Palace, Jehangir palace and the Royal chhattries and also visit Raja Ram temple – the only place where Lord Rama is worshipped as a king. After visit, transfer straight to Khajuraho.

On arrival, check in at your hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore the place on your own.

Day 18: Khajuraho – Varanasi [By overnight train]

After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Western-Eastern group of temples.

Early evening transfer to Satnarailway station to board the train to Varanasi.

Stay overnight in AC Sleeper coach of the train.

Day – 19: Varanasi

On arrival at Varanasi, and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free to walk to the Ghats or through the narrow back-lanes of this oldest survival city in the World.

Evening you will assist for boat ride tour to witness holy rituals on Ghats during Ganga Aarti ceremony – a very spiritual experience!

Overnight in Varanasi.

Day – 20: Varanasi – Delhi {By Evening Flight}

Early morning enjoy boat ride on river Ganges to witness holy rituals on Ghats, Later take sightseeing tour of major tourist attractions of Varanasi city including an excursion to Sarnath – where Budhha delivered his first sermon.

Later transfer to Varanasi Airport to board the flight to Delhi airport and transfer to check-in at hotel.

Overnight in Delhi.

Day – 21: Delhi [Departure]

Transfer to Delhi International airport to flight back home.
